Agreement between Ranil – TNA for Tri-party group for development of North

An agreement had been reached between Ranil and TNA for approaching the Development of the North and Investments  through a Tri-Party Group during a lunch-meeting between Ranil and TNA MPs, Mawai Senathyrajah, M.A. Sumanthiran  and T Sitharththan, day before yesterday at the Jetwing Hotel, Jaffna.

It was also agreed form the above group with two members each from the Centre, NPC and the TNA, subject to the agreement  of the CM.

TNA also insisted that Myliddy should be released as per the promise of the President during his Thai Pongal visit. Ranil had promised to take this up during the meeting with the Forces Chiefs.
