Allocation of Candidates: TNA confers today in Vavuniya

TNA is meeting today under Sampanthan to take the final decisions on allocation of seats for its constituent parties for the forthcoming General Elections. The leaders and Secretaries and other VIPs of Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi, TELO, EPRLF and PLOT will meet at around 10.00 at the Vavuniya Town Council, Cultural hall to decide the allocations.

No agreement had been reached  regarding the allocations so far, although understandings had been reached regarding Jaffna, Trincomalee and Jaffna, no arrangement had been made about Vanni and Batticaloa.

In this context the politburo of the TNA is meeting today for the final allocations. Sampanthan expressed hopes that amicable solutions will be reached today.

Also discussed will be the Election Manifesto of the TNA, and the Election campaigns in North and East.
