Area people gather to protest against the Windmill project in Maravanpulavu

The area people of Maravanpulavu joined in for a struggle against the construction of Wind Mill – Power Station near their residences in Maravanpulavu , under Thenmaradchchi Divisional Secretary area in Jaffna.

They commenced a protest rally from Kodikamam Bus Stand moved along A9 Highway  and engaged in an attention drawing struggle in front of Chavakachcheri Pradeshiya Sabha.

Thereafter the Chairman of the Chavakachcheri  Pradeshiya Sabha met the protesters and had a discussion with them

The protesters demanded that the wind-Mill project be stopped immediately.
