Arrangement are being made for the relatives of 3 fasting TPPs to meet the President today

In a context where three TPPs, Sulaxan, Thiruvarul ans Tharsan have undertaken a fasting protest against their cases being transferred to Anuradhapura, and the President not giving a significant answer for the problem of the fasting TPPs, on his visit to Jaffna, but had invited the relatives to meet him today, the arrangements are being made for the relatives to meet the President today.

Meanwhile it is reported that all three TPPs have been admitted to Anuradhapura Hospital in a fainted stage.

The relatives of the TPPs have sought assistance from all sources to save the lives of the TPPs. Thus, they have met the Governor to seek his help to meet the President. The Governor has promised to make arrangement to meet the president and that he will update the president on the problems and conditions of the TPPs.
