Avoiding dependency on Tamil and Muslim parties is behind the change of election method: Gajendrakumar
“The UNP and the UPFA have reasons to change the election method. These two main parties are working toward, getting out of the dependency of Tamil and Muslim Parties and making Buddhist Sinhala regime policy complete” said the leader of the Tamil National People’s Front, Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam.
He was speaking in a press conference held by the Front at Jaffna Press Club yesterday.
Gajendrakumar criticised the Tamil National Alliance for its secret meeting with the government in London last week. He said there is no such necessity to arrange a secret meeting in London to discuss the immediate needs of the Tamil people.
