Body condition of TPPs on fasting worsens, Relatives see them for the first time after arrest
The body conditions of the Tamil Political Prisoners (TPPs) on fasting have worsened, all three of them have been admitted to Hospital and two of them have been administered with saline said the Prison media spokesman Thusara Upuldeniya.
The TPPs are on their 22nd Day of fasting yesterday . Sulaxan, Thiruvarul and Tharsan who had been arrested at various times 2009 are on their struggle demanding the revocation on the order to transfer their case at the final stages to Anuradhapura court from Vavuniya Court.
The relatives of the TPPs who met them for the first time after their arrest we all intears to see the condition of their kins.
Although several people including MPc Sivajiliongam, Propaganda Secretary of TELO, Kanesh Velayutham were present at the prison only wife of Thiruvarul and the mothers of Sulaxan and Tharsan were allowed to see them.
After the visit Thiruvarul’s wife requested all to help at least to keep the TPPs alive because kith and kin are eagerly awaiting their return. Mothers said that they have not brought up their children to see them in such deteriorated body condition.
