Cannot allow the upgrading of Kalmunai Tamil DS office. Muslims to engage in Sathyagraha today

The Muslim community in Kalmunai will engage in a Sathyagraha requesting the Government not to approve the upgrading of the Kalmunai North  Tamil Divisional Secretariat.

This Sathyagraha will be undertaken in a public place in Kalmunai Town.

Following a meeting of important members of Kalmunai TC, administrators of Mosques and business community, held at the TC  premises a complaint haa been lodged with the police that the fasting protest calling for upgrading of Kalmunai North DS is  hindering public transport and should be removed in consideration of reconciliation.

The fasting protest has been undertaken calling for the upgrading of the Kalmunai North, which has been back tracked by the intrigues politicians with vested interest for more than 30 years and is continuing for the third day with the participation of Buddhist monks.
