Carbon analysis of Sathosa Mass grave skeletons to be submitted today
The Carbon Analysis Report of the Mannar Mass grave skeletons is to be submitted by the Special JMO Chamintha Rajapakse to the Mannar Courts.
Special JMO Chamintha Rajapakse who is in charge of the excavations had entered Beta web site on last 16th and had obtained the Carbon Analysis report of the Mannar Mass grave skeletons.
CVarbon analysis was undertaken on 6 samples. Report on 5 sample were obtained last Saturday by Special JMO Chamintha Rajapakse.
however he refused to reveal the contents of the Report. But he said that the report will be submitted in Court, today Wednesday.
The samples of skeletons recovered from the mass grave were sent for Carbon analysis to Beta Lab in Florida America, on 25th of last month.
323 skeletons had been identified in 146 days of excavations and 314 of them had been removed for storage.
26 of the recovered skeletons were of children’s.
