Case of Lalith and Kugan being made to disappear –Courts orders again Gota to appear in Court
Jaffna Magistrate Peter Paul ordered yesterday that Gotabhaya Rajapakse to appear in court for Case of Lalith and Kugan, two activists of Progressive Socialist Party , being made to disappear.
The case of the two activists who were made to disappear in 2011, was taken up for hearing yesterday. Former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya was ordered by the court to appear in Court regarding a statement made by former State media spokesman Keheliya Rambukwelle during those times.
In this context the AAL of Gotabhaya appeared in the Court and assured that his client will appear in court during next date. Thereafter, the case was postponed to 21st of June. AAL Ruwan Kopage appeared fort the affected.
