Central Government’s wish:North should be under the control of the south, accuses the CM

The NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran has accuse that the Central Government wishes that the North should depend on the South for everything and the power devolution should be under the complete control of the majority race.

As the power devolution is under the complete control of the Majority race we are unable to undertake  large scale Development work here.

The debate on the Provincial Councils Budget for 2018 was held at the house yesterday. I request those, who say that they could not go forward economically as large scale development has not undertaken should wait a little.

Following Development works are in various stages of implementation

1. Wind mill electricity Production– Palai – completed.
2. Thanankilappu Saltern – to be implemented soon
3. Oman company’s fruits for export – awaiting approval Land Commissioner- will generate employment for 300.
4. 2 Mega Watt  solar electricity generation plant – Ponnalai –  12 acre released. Soon to be implemented.
5. Pallai – 1 M.Watt electricity Generation plant-
6. 25 acre Agricultural Farm – Mulankavil – Poonakary – 250 families will benefit.
7. Kilinochchi Sugar cane farm converted to Agricultural Farm and and put into operation.
8. Frash water fishing 32 acres identified in Mathagal Keratheevu and Myliddy.
9. Project for disposal of solid waste by  fermentation. will reduce cost of Waste disposal
10. Garments factory in collaboration with Canadian Diaspora in operation, said the CM.
