Come out of pains of War tragedies, Give new hopes to the next generation, says “Kaviperarasu” Vyramuthu

“Kaviperarasu” Vyramuthu   on his maiden visit to Jaffna met writers and poets at a specially organized venue yesterday said  that, he feels the pain of the writers and poets, standing on the ashes of the 93,000 books burnt with the Jaffna Library and the ashes , bodies and bones of hundreds of thousands of our people killed in the war.

However he reminded them phoenix rising from its own ash, and that they should come out of the pains of the war tragedies and give new hopes to the next Generation.

Commenting on some famous South Indian writer saying foot notes are needed to understand the language in the creations of Eelam writers, he said, ”  do not give up your language style, because that is the identity of this soil, that is the radiance of this soil.”

He also said , ” Don’t forget the war. Do not allow the next generation to forget the war.”
