It is dangerous if the Government will fail to pay attention on the tribulations of the affected people: says CM
The governments of International Countries and the Sri Lanka Government have to understand each other first. It is not proper if the grieves and the demands of our people are continued to be ignored. If the Government attempts to get into wrong activities after understanding the mindset of the Tamil people in an incorrect way, it will result in serious consequences, said the Chief Minister of Northern Province, C.V.Wigneswaran.
He was speaking during the adjournment of the NPC in sympathy to the Full Hartal undertaken by people for information on People made disappear and the lands lost to Security Forces.
It gives great pain of mind that the government is showing any reaction to the rieves and concerns of the affected people. Southern Sinhala people and the Government should understand one thing from the overall support we are showing to the Hartal.
It is not good for anybody if the if our people, their grieves and their demands are continued to be ignored. If the Government attempts to get into wrong activities after understanding the mindset of the Tamil people in an incorrect way, it will result in serious consequences to our people, he said.
