Defeated will not be supported in JMC and Nallur PS, decided ACTC

The All Ceylon Tamil Congress has decided in its meeting yesterday that if the Mayor of Jaffna Municipal Council and the Chairman of the Nallur PC who lost their post due to the budgets of these bodies being defeated are fielded again , ACTC will not support them.

If TNA will propose suitable persons they will considered favourably, the party had decided.

A meeting of the members of both local bodies was held yesterday by the leadership.

It was unanimously decided by all participants that if suitable persons are proposed they will be considered favourably.

Further the party had announced that their members will not contest for the posts.
