Demolition of Mosque a planned act accuses Minister Rishad Badi-ud-deen

” There was a problem at a Muslim hotel in Amparai Town. That hotel was broken up. But, there was need for the Mosque situated 500 meters away to be demolished. The demolition of the mosque indicates that this is a well planned act., said Minister Rishad Badi-ud-deen.

A group led by the minister visited Ampara yesterday and inspected the broken up mosque, shops and the burned vehicles. He made himself aware of the incident while talking to the Mosque administration and the important persons of the area. He pointed out as above while conversing with the senior police officers who came to the spot at the time of his visit.

What is the reason behind hundreds of people deliberately coming to this mosque and damaging it which is situated several hundred meters away from the hotel following an incident at the hotel? What is the background of this? These arsonists should be arrested and brought before courts. The CID should take speedy action to arrest them, he further said.
