Demonstration against ” Tiger Hunt” and White Van culture in Amparai

The Federation of families of missing persons held a demonstration in front of the DIG Office in Amparai calling for the immediate stoppage of arrest of former militants and to bring an end to ‘white van’ culture which had raised its ugly head again.

More  than 50 demonstrator participated in this demonstration and the demonstrators first handed over a memorandum to the Senior Police Superintendent, Amparai and then to the Additional Government Agent at the nearby Kacheri

Their memorandum included the following also:

* Former militants are being abducted and then the abductions are converted into arrests. Stop this and if the abductions are illegal arrest the suspects.

* These are done to disturb the reconciliation program of the Good Governance.

* White van culture could not be allowed. If they are happening without your knowledge investigate and arrest the suspects. Stop the White Van Culture. Let us know the action taken by you against this.
