Discussion with Maithri to release Palaly American Mission School, says Mawai Senathyrajah

Discussions are to be held with President Maithri who is to visit Jaffna for the release of the American Mission School located in Palaly North, said TNA MP, Mawai Senathyrajah.

“ We have already talked to the Army Commanding Officer of Jaffna District and the President regarding this and this will be taken to the attention of the president again when he comes on the visit to Jaffna, he said.

The people of Palaly have requested to facilitate the education of the students resettling in Palaly by releasing the American Mission School. at the current context our students are trekking more than 10 Kms. for Education. But the American Mission School is only 300 meters away from the homes of these students. If the army will come forward release this school, the future of the students will brighten. We will continue to work for re establishing the routine life of the people, ha said.
