Families remember their ‘disappeared’ in Batticaloa

Families and relatives of thousands of people disappeared during and after the war, staged a protest march today in Batticaloa.

They gathered at Sithandy Junction and marched to Sithandy Sithiravelayuthar temple, where they lit oil lamps to remember their missing loved ones.
