Fast unto death enters its 17th day – 6 TPPs fainted, other badly affected

Six of the 14 TPPs undertaking a fast unto death, requesting to release them, at least after rehabilitation, had fainted yesterday and taken to the Prison hospital. Although they have rejected medical attention, they had been treated under compulsion from prison doctors.

S.Thillairaj, N.Kuganathan, M.Sivanathan, N.Tharmarajah, S.Gnnaseelan, T.Manoharan are six TPPs who have fainted yesterday. TNA MPs, Siritharan, Charles and S.Viyalendran visited the fasting TPPs yesterday  and they reported that the TPPs are very badly affected and that they have bowed to end their lives within the prison walls if a favourable solution is not offered to them.
