Full Hartal to in North calling Justice for Harisnavi

A full Harthal is called for in the North condemning the Rape-murder of Vavuniya Vipulananth College student Harishnevi  and calling for justice for her horrible murder.

The Northern Provincial Council, its members and staff, Teachers Associations, Traders Associations, Mini bus owners associations, Jaffna University Society, People organization against Social violence, political parties  Baker association, Hair dressers Association, Women’s Associations Asociation for Child welfare and other public Organizations had pledged their support for the hartal.

Hartal brought life to a standstill in several areas in Vavuniya . All business establishments and schools were closed and public transport disrupted.

Common consensus prevailing is that the officials implementing law and order shout act forthwith arrest the perpetrators and take action to bring them book without any partiality.
