Give us autonomy in politics and let us rule ourselves, the CM insists in the presence of Chandrika

The NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran put out a request in the presence of former President Chandrika Kumaranathunga to give Autonomy and let the Tamil people rule themselves.

A discussion of  activities of Office for National Unity and Reconciliation was held yesterday at the Jaffna Secretariat.The CM said so participating in this discussion.

Speaking further he said,” With much regret I did not attend the meeting convened by the President three days ago inviting 48 persons. I provided reasons for the same.

What I told him was that he should help us to live as ourselves. I pointed out to him not to take your own decisions and keep us under your control.What we ask is to give us Autonomy and let us rule ourselves.”

He also pointed out that she is person who had said in 2000 that Sri Lanka is a country of united regions.
