Gota drowns North with Promises: Believe me If I am elected I will release TPPs, he says

Believe me. I will release the Tamil Political prisoners, Promised Gotabhaya Rajapkse in Jaffna.

In a campaign meeting held at the Ilankathir Sports Club grounds in Racca Road, Gotabhaya liberally threw out promise after promise.

I have given promises regarding Tamil people in my Election Manifesto. Thus I shall release the 274 TPPs in prison after Rehabilitation. Loans taken by farmers will be cancelled.
