Grand invigorating People’s Rally under the aegis of Tamil Makkal Peravai on September 07
A grand people’s rally is to be held in the North and East homeland on September 7th, under the aegis of Tamil People Council (TPC) putting forward 6 demands including opposition to oppression against Tamil Nation and seeking intervention of International countries in expediting the Investigations against war Crimes.
The Central Committee meeting of the TPC was held yesterday, at the Head office of the Peravai, located at Kantharmadam, presided by the co-chairs Justice C.V.Wigneswaran and Dr. P.Luxman.
Grief was expressed in this meeting over the continuing occupational activities of the Lands of Tamil people and imposition of Buddhism in Tamil Home Lands. A decision was taken at this meeting that as the Government is dragging time without providing solution , all Tamil people should be rallied up to make the international countries aware of the Government continuing to cheat the Tamil people and the distress of the Tamil people.
