The Haves should come forward to alleviate the grieves of the Have-nots, said the NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran . He was speaking after opening a dining hall of the Nainatheevu Temple yesterday.

Elaborating further he said, the practices of giving and gifting are gaining importance among Tamil people today. Those who are abroad must give their gifts so that those who receive it will constructively spend it. No room should be allowed for luxury spending. Requirements are dancing around us. Poverty is affecting badly.

We have created a gifting unit called ” Uthavip Palam”. Without expecting large amounts we take whatever small amounts provided by the people voluntarily and distribute them among people suffering and creating a revival in their lives, he said.
