Invigorating Rally in the East demanding International Investigation

A mass rally was held in Batticaloa yesterday placing forward various demands including International Investigation on Genocide against Tamil People and that no time  be granted to Sri Lanka in Geneva.

The Rally was held under the aegis of the Society for the Families of Missing Persons and started near Kallady Bridge. Former CM NPC, and Secretary General of TMK, C.V.WigneswaranMPs,  MPs S.Yogeswaran, Gna. Srinesan, , representatives of public organizations and large number of public participated in the rally.

Several thousand people and youth carrying slogans proceeded from Kallady Bridge  to Gandhi Park where an attention drawing meeting was held.
