Japanese Officials inspect de-mining at Muhamalai

Japanese Embassy Officials had visited yesterday and inspected the de-mining work undertaken in Mauhamalai by SHARP Organization aided by financial support of Japanese Government and held discussions with the organization.

Demining work is being continued in Muhamalai, Vempodukerny and Kilaly which fall under the Pachchilaippalli Divisional Secretary’s area.

These Officials inspected the de-mining work undertaken by a humanitarian de-mining organization SHARP with financial Aid from Japanese Government.The team which came in the morning, met the workers engaged in de-mining  at the Organization’s Office and then went on to the de-mining sites to inspect the work going on and to have discussions with the workers at the sites.
