London meeting should have remained an un-announced one: Sumanthiran in London

The political meeting that is being held from last Thursday should have remained an un-announced meeting, said the TNA MP, M.A.Sumanthiran. It is not a meeting to discuss power devolution or war crimes investigation as reported in some media, he further said.

Sumanthiran said this in an interview he gave to a Tamil TV service regarding the meeting that  is being held in London, and elaborated further by saying that this is a meeting regarding the solving of immediate problems faced by the Tamil people in North and East and deciding on a time frame to achieve that.

He also said representatives of international community are participating in this meeting.

The Tamil Diplomat  had published yesterday  a news item saying that, the Sri Lankan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mangala Samaraweera, a representative of former President of Sri Lanka, Chandrika Bandaranayake Kumaranathunge, the former Minister of Norway and the Norwegian Peace Envoy Eric Solheim, Martyn Desinger of the Foreign Ministry of Switzerland, representatives of the ITI organization of South Africa, the spokesman of the Global Tamil Forum, Suren Surenthiran , and Dr. Ramanan , a senior member of Norwegian Council of Eelam Tamils and  Global Tamil Forum with few others are participating in this meeting.
