“London Tamil Market 2017” Ends on a High Note

Introduced for the first time in 2015, the “London Tamil Market 2017” was successfully held recently.

Thousands of people thronged to the Harrow Leisure Centre to witness this crowning event on 08-09 April 2016.

The event, which was organised by the British Tamil Chamber of Commerce, brought together Tamil business entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, charity leaders and people from all over the UK. More than 150 Tamil businesses and community organisations participated in this event and displayed their products and services. Approximately 10,000 people attended the event.

The Chief Minister of Northern Province, C.V. Wigneswaran, speaking on the first of this event, through Video message, insisted the necessity of the institutionally organized implementation of the Commercial and trade activities of the Tamil people living all over the world, and said that they could assist the prosperity of the people of their homeland in a grand way.

Commenting on the event, the President of the British Tamil Chamber of Commerce, M. Thiruvasagam said that, as expected the event was concluded on a successful note and that they are anticipating to hold this on much larger scale with new dimensions next year.

There are over 10, 000 Tamil Businesses in the UK participating in creating wealth contributing to the economy creating employment.  We invite all Tamil Businesses to join in supporting our Business and wider communities. Mr Baskaran Co-Founder of Lebara, Mr K R B Narayanan, Vice President of Achi Masala Chennai, Mr S Thumilan Chairman of Blue Ocean Group of Chennai attended both days and participated in presenting awards to Exhibitors. They expressed how satisfied they were to be part of this great event.
