Maithri and Mahindha in secret meeting

It is learnt  that a meeting had occurred between the President Maithripala Sirisena and former President Mahindha Rajapakse yesterday night.

This meeting was held at the residence of the speaker and only Maithri and Mahindha participated in this meeting, it is said.

Mahindha Rajapakse who took part in party of UPFA MPs at the residence of the Chief Minister of Western Provincial Council, Prasanna Ranathunge, at around 2100 hrs, then had proceeded  to the residence of the Speaker for the meeting with President Maithri.

However it was not revealed what was discussed in the meeting.
