Muliwaikkal Commemoration will be led by NPC: CM, C.V.Wigneswaran
Announcing that the NPC will lead the Muliwaikkal Commemoration as usual on 18th May, the NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran has also called upon all Public Organizations to join in the remembering of the greatest human disaster happened to our Tamil Race.
A meeting of the NPC members was held yesterday presided by the CM. Commenting to the press at the end of this meeting, the CM said as above.
Elaborating further he said that the Commemoration was undertaken under the leadership of NPC for the last four years. The general consensus was that the NPC should hold the commemoration as usual.
Several Public Organizations have come forward to join us. The University Student pointed out that although the NPC led the commemoration, there were 4 separate event held last year, and hence they initiated to hold a commemoration of a General nature.
I have invited them to participate in the preparatory meeting to be held tomorrow and put forward their views, said the CM.
