Mullivaikkal Genocide against Tamil Nation commemorated sentimentally all around Tamil Homeland
The main commemorative event of the 7th anniversary of the Mullivaikkal Genocide was held under the aegis of the the Northern Provincial Council, on Mullivaikkal soil at around 9.00a.m. today Wednesday.
Northern Provincial Chief Minister C.V. Wignneswaran lighted the main sacrificial Flame and inaugurated the event. Parliament Members, Members of Provincial council, representatives of public organizations, Religious dignitaries and several others followed him in paying their homage.
The 7th Anniversary Commemoration of the kins killed at Mullivaikkal was held in University of Jaffna. This Commemorative event was held in the premises of University of Jaffna to Wednesday Morning. Students, lecturers and staff of the University lighted sacrificial flames, and paid floral tributes.
Students at the Eastern university held the ‘Mullivaikkal Tamil genocide memorial event’ on Wednesday evening.
Member of NPC Thurairaja Raviharan was present in Nanthikadal today morning and paid floral tribute there.
Tamils in Mananr gathered in remembrance of those who died in the Mullivaikkal genocide. The event was organised by the Mannar Federation of public organisation.
Commemorating event was held at Vaharai under the aegis of Tamil National People’s Front.
