Mulliwaikkal people join their kins in support of their struggle
The Relatives of people made to disappear, who have made tents in front of the Mulaitheevu District Secretariat, continued their struggle for the 59th day yesterday
In a context where the government has not placed any solution forward, the people were continuing their struggle and the Mulliwaikkal East people gave their support day before yesterday.
These people are struggling for 59 days and the government had not provided any relief, and hence we have joined their struggle they said.
They further said that a games festival is scheduled to be held on 18th to make a comedy of that day. Several thousand lives were lost on the 18th in Muliwaikkal. Celebrating this commemoration day of the people who were killed had to be stopped and all should get together to get some solution for these people who are braving the sun and the mist by the roadside they said.
