Mulliwaikkal Soil soaked in tributes of tears
9th annual commemoration of the Mulliwaikkal genocide of Tamil people was observed sentimentally today at Muliwaikkal amidst flowing tears. Politicians, clergy of all religions and people participated in their numbers and paid their tearful tributes to their dear ones who had fallen at Muliwaikkal and other places during the merciless war.
NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran, ITAK leader Mavai Senathirasa, Party Leaders, MPs, MPcs , and the public were among the large gathering at Muliwaikkal Commemoration Yard. A massive motorcycle procession was held by the Jaffna University students in memory of the Mullivaikkal victims.
At the outset of the event 3 minutes silence was observed for all who had been guzzled by the merciless dragon that is war.
The CM, C.V.Wigneswaran delivered the memorial oration.
