Naranthanai convicts still members of EPDP, If arrested bring them here, Challenges Doughlas Devananda
Sebastian Ramesh alias Napoleon and Nadarasa Mathanarasa who have been sentenced to double death sentences for the attacking members of TNA in 2001and causing death to 2 persons and injuring 21 are still the members of EPDP and they operating abroad as the party’s activists, said the Secretary of the EPDP and an MP, Douglas Devanantha.
He said this in a media conference he held yesterday.
EPDP has nothing to do with the Naranthanai incident. Condemned Mathanarasa was within my eye sight during the incident. Napoleon was very popular among the people. He is not a person who commits acts like this. He has been trapped in this case for political reasons. Both of the condemned members are engaged in our party work abroad, even now.
When the media men suggested that international warrant has been issued, he said that they may be arrested. If arrested bring them here.
He also; said the NPC Opposition Leader Thavarasa has not been expelled from the party and he also has not resigned from the party.
