If no compromise on our Rights is made, we don’t need to fear anyone coming to power in South-CM
If we are firm in winning our Rights and Privileges we don’t need to fear about anyone coming to power in the South. We also need not give way to compromises in getting just and fair matters from the government, said the NPC CM C.V.Wigneswaran.
He has said so in his weekly press release.
The results of the LG Elections have entailed the ITAK and its Leadership to ask questions about themselves. Those who thought that nobody could shake them has experienced an earth quake.
At least now, the criterion of a few taking decisions should be abandoned, we should all get together and come forward to induct all as partners and pursue constructive and prophetical activities sans party discrimination, and undertake our due tasks for our people.
As far as I know, three matters have surfaced in the LG Election results.
- Mahindha emerging as the Guardian of Sinhalese people. – Sinhalese people I spoke after the elections said: Prices have gone up by many fold – Fraud charges on opposition made for political reasons but actually it is no so. – The Tamil political leaders saying things not in the Interim Report had raised the suspicion of the Sinhalese people.
- Ungrateful Government.
The Government had forgotten because of whom they have come to power. It had also forgotten the Good Governance.
- Different faces of Tamil Leadership.
Tamil Leadership is refusing to accept that the path they have trekked is wrong. They still attempting to save their positions. It is true that changes have occurred in the thinking of Tamil people. It is not hate but hopelessness.
What I wish to say is that stop subjugating yourselves for meager privileges, else you will lose your uniquity. Don’t forget the Tamils who lived from Ambalanthotta to Katpiddi being assimilated, he has said.
