No firm decision on opposing the Budget….Adjournment motion with JVP on TPPs, says Sumanthiran

Many of our MPs are with the intention of opposing the Budget, but no firm decision has been taken on that and we have arranged table an adjournment motion on TPPs with the conjunction of the JVP which will make us gain the support of Sinhala People for the release of the TPPs., said M.A Sumanthiran, the spokesman for TNA.

He said in a media conference held at his home in Jaffna, yesterday.

The Government has not completed many things it promised us. The TPPs are not just asking them to release. They have said that they will plead guilty and that they be released after rehabilitation. If Sinhalese are told these truths a proper way massive support will be provided by them, he said.
