Non-violent struggle against planned occupation by the Government in North and East from tomorrow
A Non-violent is to be commenced in the North and East from tomorrow against the planned occupation of the Government.
Tamil Nationalist parties and public Organizations had expressed their full support for the said non-violent struggle.
The preparatory meeting for the non-violent struggle that is to be undertaken from 3rd to 6th of this month, to be held from Pottuvil to Poligandy against the planned occupation and oppression of the Government. This meeting was held at the Thanthai Selva Memorial yesterday at around 12 Noon yesterday.
This meeting presided by the Chief of the Sivaguru Aatheenam, Rev. Velan Swamigal was participated by Hindu and Christian priests representatives of Tamil National Parties, Chairmen and members of Local Government Bodies, representatives of the University Students Federation, representatives of Public Organizations of North and East.
It was decided to setup committees for the 8 districts of the North and East and the coordinate the struggle through them.
