Northern Unemployed Graduates hold a protest Rally
The Prime Minister is saying that there are 8,000 vacancies in state services. The Un-employed Graduates of the North held a protest rally yesterday and demanded that these vacancies be filled with them.
Organised by the Association for Un-employed Graduates of the North, the rally was held in front on the Jaffna Secretariat.
They further said that, they have undertaken several struggles in the past. More taime wwas requested every time, but no employment was given to us. The number of the unemployed graduates in increasing annually.
We who undertook our studies with much expectation are forced to stand in the roads un-employed. So, who are responsible should consider our pathetic position and grant us some relief, they said.
