I have not spoken with Sampanthan secretly, says the CM, C.V.Wigneswaran

The Chief Minister, C.V.Wigneswaran has announced that he had not engaged in secret meeting with Era Sampanthan.

Some media have published news that secret meetings are being held between Era Sampanthan and the CM at the house of a popular Lawyer in Colombo.

When other media asked the CM about the news, he said that, there is no truth in these news. It is a blatant lie to say that I had meetings with Era Sampanthan. Some media are publishing news about events that had not occurred as if they have actually happened. I met Era Sampanthan last during the publication of my book in Jaffna.I have not him after that.

There was no need for such a meeting. If I had actually met him,  I would have informed the media myself. Some people who need the help of such news are deliberately publishing them. It seems that they are acting with a hidden agenda.
