The relatives of the missing and made to disappear have undertaken a continuous struggle demanding the declaration of the fate of their relatives and/or release them, in front of the Kilinochchi Kandaswamy Temple for 53rd day yesterday.
The relatives of the missing people had undertaken continuous struggles in 4 districts in the North and one in the east. They are on this struggle for the 53rd day in Kilinochchi, 49th day in Vavuniya, 37th day in Mullaitheevu, 30th day in Maruthankerny in Jaffna and 40th day in Trincomalee.
Today is a special day for Christians and Hindus. But our only prayer for today is that our relatives should return to our fold.Our requests or demands are being dragged on. We have been subjected to much inquietude that we will wear black clothes today they said.
