Partheenium spreading Allaipiddy Too

Partheenium plants are growing speedily at a low land belonging to a department  at the road terminal of Ward 3 of Allaipiddy on the Kayts Road.

In a context where Partheenium were absent so far in Allaipiddy, it is reported that the Partheenium plants are now growing due to the department filling op the low area with building debris from other areas.

If these toxic plants are not destroyed immediately, they will spread by air, water and animals to the agricultural lands,  and it will be very difficult to eliminate them and that their agricultural lands will be seriously affected, said the farmers of the area expressing  their concern.

When the farmers made a complain to the Velanai Divisional Secretary, he has assured that a solution will be obtained.
