Police arrests over 120 protesters in Jaffna

Over 120 protesters were arrested and five police personnel were reportedly injured following the violence in and around the vicinity of the Jaffna court premises this morning.

According to police information,  several three-wheelers, around 50 motor cycles and bicycles were taken in to police custody.

Inspector General of Police is on his way to  Jaffna to personally monitor the situation.
