The Prime Minister accepted that injustices had been caused Tamils, says Siritharan, MP

The Prime Minister had accepted the injustices caused to Tamils by the words ‘Let’s Forgive and Forget’, said TNA MP, S.Sritharan.

A meeting for making Tamil people aware of the new Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) was held in Kilinochchi yesterday.

Elaborating further he said that Act is detrimental to interests of the Tamils. We will never accept it. The said draft Act has been submitted to the Parliament. It may take around 2 years to adopt it.

When the Prime Minister sad “ let’s forgive and forget”  we did not walk out with political decency.
