” Release us or inquire us” – 15 TPPs to re-embark on Fast unto death
15 TPPs in New Magazine prison had announced that they to embark on fast unto death demanding “Release us or inquire us” from 23rd.
We were arrested and in prison without any inquiries for period ranging from 6 – 20 years. only 15 of us are taken to courts and whenever we ask the judge about our fate they always say that they have no power to make any decision on us . Hence we are undertaking this fast unto death as a last resort.
Brammah sahayagam Uthayakumar, Sivasupramanium Thillairaj, Namesh Kuganathan, M.Sivanathan, M.Neethynathan, K.Vethanayagam, N.Tharmarajah, S.Gnnaseelan,S.Thayaparan, Sellathurai Kirupananthan.T.Manoharan Joseph Sebasthiyan,Supramaniun Kapilan, Rasathurai Thiruvarul,Raveendran Mathany will take up the Fast tomorrow and will continue until appropriate solution is found to us.
If we lose our lives in this struggle we request the Medical faculties of Jaffna and Peradeniya, to take over our bodies through Red Cross. We also request our people, youth and students to take up struggles for our release, they have requested in their announcement.
