Rifle used in Raviraj murder belongs to the Army-CID reports to court

The CID had reported to Court that the rifle used in the murder of Raviraj, a former MP of TNA, belongs to the Army. They also reported that the auto used in the murder also had been taken into their custody.

The TNA MP for Jaffna District  and a young and upcoming Tamil Leader , Attorney at Law N.Raviraj was murdered at point blank range on 10.11.2006 at Narahenpita, Matha Mawatha. 5 Navy personnel are in custody in connection with this murder.

The Court had ordered the CID to investigate and report as to how the army rifle happened to be used in this murder.
