Road- blocking struggle at Kilinochchi, demanding release of Tamil Political Prisoners

A continuous struggle was started yesterday in Kilinochchi , demanding the release of Tamil Political Prisoners.

The relatives who assemble in front of Kilinochchi Kandaswamy Temple, engaged in an attention drawing struggle.

Meanwhile, the traffic police on duty failing to regularize the traffic finally requested the protesters  to cooperate with them. Accordingly, the traffic was regulated through a part of the road. The Traffic police who came to the spot engaged in long negotiation with the protesters.

The relatives said that a shed will be constructed and the struggle will be continued.
