Signature campaign ends – Originals to be sent to UN

The signature campaign undertaken by the Tamil Action committee for International Accountability Mechanism (TACIAM) was concluded yesterday and the arrangements  for sending the Originals to UN and its member states  is being undertaken now, said the president of the TACIAM, Professor V.P.Sivanathan.

Speaking at a press conference of the organization held at its office in Manal tharai Lane, Jaffna, he   further said, that hundred thousands of people had signed the memorandum in such a short time and that, they wish to thank all those people who had supported our move.

He also said that, their activities will be extended to strengthen the final resolution. Our Action Committee calls for only international Investigation. We reject completely the Internal Investigation Mechanism.

The chief Organizer  of the Committee and the Leader of the TNPF, Kajendrakumar and the Secretary of the Committee , Kanesalingam also took part in this press conference.
