Former TNA MP, Ariyanendran said that the Government should take the responsibility for Tamil Youth bearing arms and the Tamil people who were killed.
The 13th Commemoration of Political Adviser to the Liberation Tigers, “Voice of the Country” Anton Balasingam was held at the Vellavelly Head office of the Baticaloa-Amparai Democratic Militants Party, day before yesterday.
“Voice of the Nation” Anton Balasingam participated in the Thimpu Conference in 1986. Several attempts were made by him for the Tamils to get a political solution based on Federal system along with merged North and East.
If the Countries such as America,Britain and European Union are pressurizing Sri Lanka today, the reasons behind it are the struggle and the sacrifices of the Maveerars and the political pursuance of TNA. “Voice of the Nation” Anton Balasingam laid the foundation for all these.
Our demand is that who ever may become the president the Tamil people should enjoy all rights enjoyed by Sinhalese people, he said.
