Is the statement ‘We don’t want Federal system” is a personal opinion of Sumanthiran, TNA should clarify, says CM
The NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran has demanded that the TNA should clarify whether the “ We don’t want Federal Solution” is a personal opinion of Sumanthiran or of the TNA?
The CM said so while answering questions posed at him by media through e-mail.
May be sometimes he had obtained Tamil people’s votes saying 13th is adequate. May be that he wanted to attract the minds of the Sinhala people. Or he may be afraid that his security may be reduced. I am changing the minds of Sinhala people that Federal is the best form for all nine provinces.
If my dear student is saying that federal is not needed for N&E, forgetting all his promises to the Tamil people and if he is asking for the 13th which had established Sinhala dominance, it means he is expecting some post in the near future. The TNA should clarify whether this is the opinion of the TNA. If not, Sampanthan and people like him should get together and chase Sumanthiran away in the style suggested by Asmin, he said.
