Swearing in of Ministers in the cabinet of Eastern Provincial Council

 The members of the Cabinet of the Eastern Province were sworn in Governor Austin Fernando at the Governor’s Office today morning.

 The cabinet comprises of representatives of Sri Lanka Muslim Congress, Tamil National Alliance, United People’s Front Alliance and United National Party are stake holders in the cabinet. The following are in the cabinet:-

 Chief Minister, Finance and Planning : Nasheed Ahamed (SLMC)

Minister of Education: S.Thandauthapany (TNA)

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development: S.Thurairajasingham (TNA)

Minister of Health: M.I.M. Mansoor (SLMC)

Minister of Lands, Highways and Road Development: Ariyawathy Galapathy ( UPFA)

Chairperson: Chndradass Galapathy ( UNP)

Deputy Chiarman: Prasanna (TVF)
