TELO fails in its attempt to form an election alliance

TELO has announced that it will not contest with the ITAK and efforts to form an alliance have not been successful. It has been pushed into a situation where it should either contest alone or with ITAK.

The TELO, which earlier had announced that it will not contest with ITAK, held negotiations to form alliance with parties against the ITAK. It first met EPRLF and requested to postpone signing the agreement with TULF, which the EPRLF had rejected.

TELO met TULF next, but TULF had insisted the Siri-TELO will be in any alliance with them as they are in the TULF for a long time. TELO was dissatisfied over TULF’s position.

PLOT did not show green light for leaving TNA. Although the TELO tried to meet ACTC, Gajendrakumar had rejected it. Thus only two options are in front of TELO.
